Some notes from P.N.:
We did not expect that this kind of music would come out when we decided to collaborate. The beats of Rob combined with my chords, bass and melody. I just let go during the making of this. Perhaps this is the reason for the rather melodic outcome as I just reacted on the beats. While I sat in the studio to work on track 2..a blackbird came to the window and sung along...in the same key and even in the same rhythmic sense...I watched this for 2 minutes and immediately built up the microphone...I recorded for 30 seconds and then I decreased the music to have some blackbird solo..but as soon as I decreased level the blackbird disappeared. Listen to the outcome at the end of track 2. The next day...while I did the melody and chords for the third track the same thing happened...I was prepared and so I recorded the session...what you hear is the studio monitor sound and the blackbird on one channel (just added some slight delay and reverb) and the same mix on the other channel. On the last track I had the beats from Rob and tried to do something which would make more -melodic-sense...but I started to experiment with a rather aggressive beats and ended up experimenting for 2 days. Most of you might hate the track...but on the other hand I assume you like me for not tailoring my music to your taste... P.N. 23.06.1996
