Album Notes:
Christie Lenée is "Acoustic Guitarist of the Year” (2019) and International Fingerstyle Guitar Champion (2017). Combining guitar mastery, contemporary singer/songwriter and a passion for storytelling, she thrives on bringing people together through the language of music.

"Circles 'Round the Sun" is a compilation album featuring the best of Lenée's work up to date. Top singles "Free World Citizen," "Call My Heart Back Home" and 12 String Instrumental "Sterling Highway” were released digitally in 2019, two of which were paired with artsy music videos that pushed the boundaries for Christie as an artist. 5 Songs from her last album “STAY” were remastered for this compilation, including the orchestral piece "Soaring Over Glacier Bay" which has become her top song on Spotify. Additional songs include Christie's live version of Ed Sheeran's "Castle on the Hill,” and two bonus tracks captured live at Vilar Performing Arts Center.

Christie has shared the stage with artists such as Tim Reynolds (guitarist for Dave Matthews Band), Andy McKee, Tommy Emmanuel, Amy Ray from the Indigo Girls, and Stanley Jordan to name a few. Her niche is the integration of melodic pop lyricism with catchy hooks and guitar virtuosity.
